Boone Lake is a walk away, and guests have access to a private community dock. Bring your chairs and go sit on the water. The backyard is where everyone ends up. Hot tub, gas grill, outdoor dining table, fire pit, and an outdoor fireplace. Downstairs is the bonus room: rock climbing wall, big-screen TV, its own dining table, and a sleeper sofa. Kids head straight for the wall. Adults get the couch. Upstairs, the main living space opens to the kitchen and dining room, so whoever's cooking is still part of the conversation. The kitchen is set up for real meals, not just coffee and cereal. Sleeping: two bedrooms with queen beds, a third with a twin, and the sleeper sofa downstairs. One full bath and a half bath. A few things worth knowing before you book: There are steps to get in the house. Something to think about if anyone in your group has a hard time with stairs. The countertops are finished with tung oil, which comes from a tree nut. Flagging that for anyone with a nut allergy. The dock is shared community access, not private to this house alone, and there's no boat slip included. The yard isn't fenced, and the house sits on a residential street.
