- Five steps up to the front porch — but the back door is step-free, so you've got an easy way in either way. - The train tracks are fairly close. The trains aren't very active, but if you're a light sleeper, a white-noise app does the trick. - It's a tight street, and the driveway holds strictly two cars — worth planning for if you're rolling in with more than two vehicles. - Self check-in with a smart lock. - Pets welcome — two max, $65 per pet. We just ask you clean up after them outside. - Quiet hours 10 p.m.–7 a.m. for the neighbors. No smoking inside.

This is the home of the National Storytelling Festival every October, with brick sidewalks and historic storefronts that make the whole downtown worth a stroll. Founders Park and the walking trails are close by, and ETSU and downtown Johnson City are a quick drive when you want more.
